Relationships
The inner-axis position for your inner-relational life — how you relate within, paired with Finances.
Within the Balance Pyramid, Relationships is the position that holds a person’s inner-relational life — the inward ground of how they relate, the side of relating that lives in attitude, expectation, and inner stance, ahead of any outward act. The map describes the structure of who someone already is, and this position marks the part of that structure given over to connection: the disposition a person brings to closeness and distance and to the bonds they form.
Relationships sits on the inner axis of the pyramid — the side that describes what a person carries within rather than how they meet the outer world. It is one of the twenty-one positions that together form the Balance Pyramid, the computed structural map at the center of the method. Like every position, it is a fixed point in that structure; what changes from one person to the next is the energy that lands on it.
Its counterpart on the material axis is Finances. The two form a pair: Relationships carries the inner-relational current, and Finances carries the same current turned outward into the world of exchange and material life — one relational nature read twice, once within and once without. The pairing logic that links the two sides of the pyramid is set out on the page for the inner and material axes.
The value a person carries here is one of the twenty-two energies, and what that energy means is read on its own page; this position simply says where in the design that reading applies. Relationships activates early: it belongs to the first half of the base, the inner-axis positions that come online in the opening years of childhood, before the outward-facing positions of the material axis.
